Police in Natick, Massachusetts, are investigating the scene of a crash after a child riding a bicycle was reportedly struck by a motor vehicle on Tuesday.

The Natick Police and Fire Department responded to a report of a child struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters took the child to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said neither speed, alcohol, or drug impairment appear to be contributing factors to the crash.

Both the driver of the vehicle and the child were confirmed by police to be Natick residents.

The crash remains under investigation by police.
